Margaret and Sam’s wedding was in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, in the loft at the Gillespie. Margaret looked gorgeous in her lace wedding dress and mid-length veil. Her bridesmaids wore light blue mismatched dresses. Their bouquets were filled with beautiful white and blue flowers. Sam and his groomsmen looked handsome in their grey suits and blue ties. Margaret and Sam’s ceremony was inside the historic Gillespie with brick walls and high ceilings. Sam cried as he met his beautiful bride at the end of the aisle. After they said, I do, we celebrated with everyone by taking some pictures around downtown Louisville and the waterfront. When we returned to the Gillespie, the room had been transformed for their wedding reception. The tables were decorated with white linens, gold plates, blue napkins, candles, and stunning floral arrangements. Marget and Sam danced the night, celebrating with their loved ones. We have loved getting to know Margaret and Sam these last few years. It has been such an honor to get to tell their love story!
Margaret and Sam’s first date was at Goodwood brewing. They had a drink at the bar and talked for hours until the bar closed. Margaret and Sam had an instant connection and didn’t want to stop talking. Together they love to go hiking, biking, walking at the park, traveling to different cities, cheer for the Louisville City soccer team, play with their two cats, cook together, and find the best local food. Sam knew he wanted to ask Margaret to marry him. So he talked to his sister Ann-Lucas and asked her opinion on rings. He found the perfect ring with his close cousin Kelsey at a jewelry store. Sam then took the ring to Margaret’s parent’s house to ask for their blessing. Sam couldn’t wait to propose. So two days after he received the ring, he took Margaret on a date to their favorite place, Gravely Brewing, for drinks. They spent the afternoon talking on the patio overlooking the city skyline. He had planned to propose there, but they ran into Margaret’s friend Sarah. Marget asked her to join them, so Sam put his plan on hold. Afterward, Sam took Margaret to dinner. When they got home, Sam popped the question. Margaret could hardly answer over all of the happy tears. We are so excited that these two found each other. We are so happy for Margaret and Sam and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
