Gorgeous Fall Engagement Session at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky

Faith and Adam’s engagement session was at the beautiful Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. It was the perfect place to celebrate their engagement! All of the changing leaves out there was absolutely stunning. We had so much fun exploring the beautiful Keeneland grounds and hearing all about their love story. Faith and Adam first met hilariously on a dating app. Faith’s friend had set up an account her her since she was in nursing school and never actually had time to go out and “meet” anyone. Adam was in medical school at the time and didn’t have any time to go out either. They talked for about 2 months before Adam finally came to Lexington to take Faith out on a date. He had driven to Lexington from a long shift at the hospital. So when he knocked on her door he was still in his scrubs with a bag of normal clothes to change in to. When they met in person they automatically clicked. Both being indecisive Adam made Faith decide where they would go out to eat. She chose Mellow Mushroom Pizza on UK’s campus. Together they love to travel. Their first trip was to London with Faith’s family. They never pass up an opportunity to go somewhere new and exciting. Day to day, Faith and Adam always make sure to eat together. They love to sit down, watch Netflix (the office) , eat dinner, and talk about their day. As long as they are together, doing the most mundane things can be fun (except dishes, those are never fun).

Adam and Faith had been talking about marriage for the past several months and had even gone ring shopping. So she had a thought that it might happen on Adam’s medical school graduation trip. They were going to go to Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Hawaii. Adam kept alluding to proposing in Thailand since that was the destination that they were both most excited about. Faith kept talking about how she couldn’t wait for their second destination and to see the ring. On the first night of their travels they were on the water in their hotel room at Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore. The water and lights display had just started and they were on the balcony watching them. Adam called Faith’s name and as she turned around Adam was down on one knee. He then asked her to marry him. She was so surprised because she thought it was be later in the trip. It was truly the perfect way to set the tone for their amazing trip together. Faith of course said, Yes!
