Hello friends we are Kevin and Anna, a Lexington, Kentucky-based husband and wife wedding photography team.

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

Gorgeous Summer Wedding at the Club at UK’s Spindletop Hall in Lexington, KY

Lauren and Jon’s romantic wedding was at the Club at UK’s Spindletop Hall in Lexington, Kentucky. This beautiful estate is filled with so many beautiful rooms lit with chandeliers and grand fireplaces. Lauren looked stunning in her lace top wedding dress and flowing skirt. Her girls wore long blue dresses and their bouquets were filled with roses and hydrangeas. Jon and his guys looked dapper in their black and white tuxes with suspenders and bowties. Their ceremony took place on the back lawn of Spindletop Hall. The architecture is one of a kind with tall romantic pillars. Their reception followed inside the ballroom where family and friends gathered to wish Lauren and Jon a loving happy marriage together. Everyone danced the night away in the library celebrating the sweet couple. Their exit took place out in the front of the estate where all of Lauren and Jon’s loved ones threw rice paper in the air. It was such a fun and romantic day filled with so much love. It is so evident that Lauren and Jon are a perfect match and we couldn’t have felt more honored that they chose us to capture their special day.

Jon and Lauren met while they were both attending graduate school in Nashville, TN. They started out just friends studying a lot together. They began to realize that they had a lot in common.  After knowing each other for a few months Lauren felt as if she had known Jon her whole life. Jon knew that he wanted to propose to Lauren. So he originally decided that he would visit Lexington and propose on December 22, 2018. Their plan was to go to dinner that night with Lauren’s best friend and her husband. Unfortunately, Lauren woke up that morning in agonizing pain and spent the majority of the day in the ER with a kidney stone. Luckily Jon was able to move his plans until the next day. He told Lauren he wanted to stop by the Keeneland gift shop to pick up a Christmas gift for his brother before they went to lunch. Jon knew the paddock area was one of Lauren’s favorite places. When they arrived Lauren found a table with their favorite photo together. Jon got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. Of course, she said Yes! We have loved getting to know Lauren and Jon this year and wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure. Don’t miss the bottom of the blog to see all the amazing vendors who helped make their day so special.
