Anna and Clinton’s wedding was at the breathtaking Limestone Hall in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Limestone Hall is the newly renovated and wedding event venue that was originally the old historic courthouse. Anna and her girls got ready at the beautiful 21c Museum Hotel. She looked gorgeous in her lace and cathedral ceil. Anna’s bridesmaid wore long blue dresses and their bouquets were filled with white roses made by Anna’s grandmother. Clinton and his guys looked dapper in their navy suits and bow ties. Anna and Clinton said their vows under a beautiful arch surrounded by their family and friends inside of Limestone Hall. Their reception followed across the hall. The tables were decorated in white tablecloths and gold and blue accents. For sunset, we took Anna and Clinton outside of Limestone Hall to celebrate their special day.
Anna and Clinton both met in college through some of their mutual friends at a party. Their first date was at Logan’s Roadhouse with a group of their friends. It had been storming all day when Clinton randomly asked Anna to go for a walk. She thought it seemed a little odd but decided to go. Clinton decided to take Anna to the UK Arboretum. He was really worked up because he wanted to make sure he found the right entrance. Anna was confused because she didn’t think it mattered. She obviously had no idea what Clinton was planning. As they started walking, they came to a tree off the path, and it had a heart-shaped sign with a date and a little note. It was the day they met and a note that said, “If you believe in love at first no…. then this was it.” As Anna started to read she realized what was happening. She asked if she could quickly pick up the sign, but Clinton told her no and that those weren’t hers to try to throw her off. As they walked to the garden, there were additional signs with special dates of significance in their relationship. It wasn’t until she reached the final sign that said, “will you marry me?” that she knew for sure. Clinton then got down on one knee and popped the question. Anna said, Yes!” and shortly after found her sister hiding in the bushes excited and celebrating. We are so honored to that they chose us to capture their special day. They are such a sweet couple and we have had so much fun getting to know them this year. We wish them a long life full of love adventure, and happiness.
