Red River Gorge Summer Wedding at the Cliffview Resort in Campton, KY

Sarah and Ben were married on a gorgeous day in May at the Cliffview Resort in the Red River Gorge. Their love for the outdoors and adventure made it the perfect place for them to celebrate their love with their family and friends. We had so much fun getting to know Sarah and Ben. They are both just so perfect for each other. Ben and Sarah have the kindest and most loving hearts. They made us feel like we were best friends right from the start. We loved how they made their wedding day perfectly suited just for them. Sarah wore a beautiful green dress and flower crown. Ben wore a classic blue suit and yellow tie. We loved how they incorporated their sweet dog Telo as the ring bearer. He wore a cute vest and bowtie. Their ceremony was on the edge of a cliff line overlooking the mountains and forest. It was the perfect backdrop to say, “I do!” We had so much fun exploring the beautiful grounds at the Cliffview Resort and finding the perfect spots for their wedding photos. Their reception followed in the adorable lodge where all their friends and family danced the night away celebrating Sarah and Ben.

Sarah and Ben met while they were both attending Centre College working together in the tech department. They had multiple shifts that overlapped so it allowed them to get to know each other while they were working. Their first date was in their undergraduate’s school cafeteria. For their second date, they went to a local coffeehouse where they talked for hours. They finally decided to leave because it was getting late and they still had some homework to catch up on. Together they grew to be the best of friends and shared a love for many things including the outdoors. Since they both love to hike Ben knew that would be the perfect way to propose to Sarah. While they were hiking Ben asked Sarah to be forever his! Of course, the answer was Yes! We are so honored that Ben and Sarah choose us to capture their special day.
