Hello friends we are Kevin and Anna, a Lexington, Kentucky-based husband and wife wedding photography team.

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

Fall Outdoor Wedding at Honey Locust Farms in Morning View, Kentucky

Jodi and Larry were married on a cool crisp fall day at Honey Locust Farms in Morning View, Kentucky. Jodi looked stunning in her lace dress and cathedral veil. Her girls wore long maroon dresses with white shawls. Their bouquets were filled with sunflowers, baby’s breath, eucalyptus, mums, carnations, and roses. Larry and his groomsmen looked dapper in their tan suits and maroon vests and ties. Their ceremony took place on the top of a hill overlooking the fall countryside. French doors stood at the entrance of the aisle. The aisle was lined with glass jars filled with flowers. Their reception followed in the white barn at Honey Locust Farms. The tables were decorated with fall festive pumpkins and flowers. Jodi and Larry’s family and friends celebrated with them and danced the night away.

Jodi and Larry’s first date was at the Carrabba Italian Grill. Jodi was so nervous at first that she barely talked but as Larry started to make her laugh all the nerves left her. Their dinner date ended up being amazing and it was the start of something special. They went on their first vacation together on a cruise to St. Kitts. While they were stopped at a port Larry suggested that they go into a jewelry store. Larry picked out a gorgeous ring and had Jodi try it on and Jodi loved it. They continued on their fun adventure and Jodi didn’t think anything about it. A couple of months later Larry contacted the jewelry store and purchased the ring. On their one year anniversary, Larry planned the whole day to make it special. They went to the butterfly garden at the Krohn’s Conservatory and then decided to have dinner at Carrabba’s where they had their first date. As they walked back to the truck Larry began to tell Jodi that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. After those words, Jodi started screaming and jumping for joy! Larry then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!

Jodi and Larry are both such amazing and sweet people. We feel so honored that they chose us to capture their special day. We wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure.
