Jodi and Larry are such sweet and amazing people. When we first met them we felt like we were already great friends. They told us about this adorable magical spot that they wanted to take us for their engagement photos in Indiana. It is the Veraestau Historic Site located in Aurora, Indiana. The historic white house with teal accented doors and white fences made for such a romantic spot. We had a gorgeous day with perfect weather and a glowing sunset. Jodi looked beautiful in her long pink floral dress. We had so much fun getting to know them and talking all about their new life together. We are so excited for their wedding this fall at Honey Locust Farms in Morning View, Kentucky.
Jodi and Larry’s first date was at Carrabba Italian Grill. Jodi was so nervous at first that she barely talked but as Larry started to make her laugh all the nerves left her. Their dinner date ended up being amazing and it was the start of something special. They went on their first vacation together on a cruise to St. Kitts. While they were stopped at a port Larry suggested that they go into a jewelry store. Larry picked out a gorgeous ring and had Jodi try it on and Jodi loved it. They continued on their fun adventure and Jodi didn’t think much more about it. A couple of months later Larry contacted the jewelry store and purchased the ring. On their one year anniversary, Larry planned the whole day to make it special. They went to the butterfly garden at the Krohn’s Conservatory and then decided to have dinner at Carrabba’s where they had their first date. As they walked back to the truck Larry began to tell Jodi that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. After those words, Jodi started screaming and jumping for joy! Larry then got on one knee and asked her to marry him! We are so excited to share some of our favorite photos from their engagement session with you all. Check back this fall to see the rest of their love story unfold.
