Leigh and Brian’s fall engagement session was at the Univerity of Kentucky’s Arboretum in Lexington, Kentucky. We were so excited about their session because the leaves were just starting to change into beautiful colors. From the gardens, fields, and forest the arboretum has so many beautiful spots to take photos. We had so much fun exploring the arboretum and getting to know Leigh and Brian and hearing all about their love story.
Leigh had recently moved to Louisville and decided she wanted to meet new people. She found an online forum for local people getting together to hang out. A handful of people showed up, but Brian stuck around the longest to chat. Brian reached out a couple of weeks later to Leigh and they began to hang out. After several weeks of getting to know each other and becoming friends, they decided to go on an official date to see Cirque du Soleil. From that point on they knew that there was something special between them and began to be more than just friends. As their love grew Brian decided to make Leigh forever his. After a date night consisting of a movie and dinner, they went back home. Brian proposed to Leigh but wanted to make sure he picked out the perfect ring. Together they picked out the most special ring. The gem is a blue sapphire and the band is made out of a meteorite. It was the perfect ring because it is one of a kind. We are so excited for their wedding this coming March at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Be sure to check back then to see the rest of their love story unfold.
