Jamie and Freddy’s engagement session was at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The fall colors were glowing with a breathtaking sunset. We had so much fun walking around with their dog Lilly and adventuring with Jamie and Freddy celebrating their engagement and hearing all about their love story.

Jamie and Freddy met through a mutual friend. Both of them had been praying and patiently waiting to find someone with the same faith and as family orientated as they both are. When Jamie and Freddy met, they immediately realized how easy the relationship with the right person truly is. It came so naturally, and they became best friends right away. Jamie and Freddy loved that they had the same sense of humor and would laugh to the point of tears! It didn’t take long for their friendship to blossom into something more. For their first date, they went out for ice cream. Freddy being a frugal person, had a coupon that Jamie still brings up to this day. Jamie and Freddy love scary movies, live music, playing games with their friends, browsing thrift stores & TRAVELING! They are both bully breed advocates. Their dog in the photos is their smiley rescue, Lilly (8 years old). Jamie and Freddy just adopted another rescue named Velvet from their favorite non-profit @LexPitCrew.

Freddy knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jamie. They were in the process of moving into their dream home. Jamie and Freddy had just left the closing appointment and began hauling boxes over. Both of their parents and Freddy’s brother was there helping, and when they finished up the day, everyone wanted a picture of them in front of the new house. Little did Jamie know, they were there because Freddy was proposing. She had zero idea or suspicion! A new home & an engagement all in one day, followed by an amazing vacation to Cancun. Jamie still tells people, “She’s Living the Dream!” We are so happy for Jamie and Freddy and can’t wait to celebrate with them next year and capture their wedding day love story!
