WELCOME TO KEVIN AND ANNA'S WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

We love being wedding photographers and want to provide you with the most satisfying experience possible, ensuring that you enjoy your time with us and have fun in the process. We have photographed over 150 weddings together in the past 11 years.

Summer Wedding at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, KY

Carissa and Ethan were married on a beautiful summer day at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, Kentucky. Carissa looked gorgeous in her off-the-shoulder wedding dress. Her bridesmaids wore long purple dresses, and the bouquets were filled with white and purple flowers. Ethan and his groomsmen looked handsome in their grey suits and purple tie. Carissa and Ethan’s ceremony was outside next to the Red Mile Racetrack. Their reception followed shortly after inside the Round Barn. The tables were decorated with white tablecloths, flowers, and purple linens. For sunset, we celebrated with some romantic bride and groom photos. Then, everyone danced the night away, celebrating Carissa and Ethan. At the end of the night, heavy rain came through, and Carissa and Ethan ran out and got a romantic rain photo. We have loved getting to know Carissa and Ethan this past year and capturing their love story.

Carissa and Ethan met when they went to graduate school in the same program at the University of Illinois. They were also Graduate Assistants in their recreation department. Ethan knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Carissa. They spent the morning at the National Mall in DC with their two best friends, looking at all the monuments. Toward the end of the morning, they all walked over to the Tidal Bason to get a good view of the Jefferson Memorial (Carissa’s favorite monument). Their friend suggested taking a picture of the two of them in front of the memorial. They did, and then Ethan turned to Carissa and said, “I love you so much. I’ve been wanting to ask you this question for a while now,” then he dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him! She, of course, said yes! Congratulations, Carissa and Ethan; we are so happy for you all and wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
