Summer Engagement Session at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky

Lindsey and Mark’s engagement session was at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. They really wanted a place that showed the beautiful scenery of Kentucky, which also included horses. They had a gorgeous evening, and we loved walking around the beautiful countryside, celebrating their engagement, and hearing about their love story.

Lindsey was excited to swipe right on Bumble when she saw that Mark was a Christian and a Packers fan. Likewise, Mark was excited about her faith and sense of adventure. They went for a walk at Ault Park in Cincinnati for their first date and then had dinner at Seasons 52. It also happened to be on Lindsey’s parent’s 45th wedding anniversary. They both love to travel, especially to the beach. Lindsey and Mark also enjoy attending church together, volunteering, checking out restaurants, playing yard games, spending time with friends and family, and recently getting into pickleball.

Mark knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Lindsey. They started the day at church for Easter Sunday and then went to brunch. After brunch, Mark casually asked to walk at a park nearby, Shilito, because it was a beautiful day. On the walk, they talked and enjoyed time together. Mark had a spot picked out just over the bridge, where he also had a photographer friend waiting to capture the moment. Mark started to talk to her about the message at church, which happened to reference marriage often. As soon as they crossed the bridge, Mark pulled Lindsey to the side and got down on one knee to ask her to marry him! She was shocked and surprised at first, but it was an easy YES! Lindsey and Mark have been praying for each other for a very long time. God’s timing is perfect, and they can’t wait for their future together! We are so excited to capture Lindsey and Mark’s love story this fall at Fasig Tipton. Stay tuned for their wedding day love story.
