Outdoor Spring Wedding at Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky

Shelby and Grant’s spring was in the countryside at Talon Winery in Lexington, Kentucky. Shelby looked beautiful in her wedding dress with a gorgeous lace top. Her bridesmaids wore long, mismatched green dresses, and their bouquets were filled with white and pink flowers. Grant and his groomsmen looked handsome in their navy suits. The day brought a little rain, but it didn’t let Grant and Shelby get them down. When it came time for the ceremony, they were trying to decide whether to move it inside or not because of the weather. Shelby had dreamed of having her wedding outside, so we pushed to have it outside even though it was sprinkling. Good thing we did because the rain cleared up, and they had a beautiful ceremony outside as she had always dreamed of. Their reception followed in the barn. The tables were decorated with blush and gold accents, floral arrangements, and candles. The night ended up being beautiful, and everyone enjoyed being outside and celebrating Shelby and Grant.

Shelby and Grant met at work. They had worked closely together for a few years and ended up being at a happy hour for work together at the Tin Roof. After the happy hour had ended, Shelby and Grant stayed and talked in the parking lot for hours, just the two of them. Things started to spark from there! Their first date was dinner at Tony’s. Grant knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Shelby. So he proposed at his mom’s house, surrounded by family. Grant knew Shelby always wanted to be around someone that would take pictures of their engagement, and they are both really big on family. Shelby being nosey, kind of knew the proposal was coming that day. Grant’s mom lives on a golf course, and he proposed in the middle of a round of golf to try and surprise Shelby! The ring is a family ring that his mom gave Grant, and it is also the ring his dad used to propose to her! We are so happy for Shelby and Grant and have loved getting to know them this past year. We wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure. Congratulations, you two!
