Fall Wedding at Idle Hour Country Club in Lexington, KY

Madi and Tom’s wedding was on a gorgeous fall day in Lexington, Kentucky. Madi looked stunning in her long sleeve, off-the-shoulder wedding dress, and cathedral veil. Her bridesmaids wore long black dresses, and their bouquets were filled with white flowers and greenery. Tom and his groomsmen looked handsome and wore classic back tuxes and bowties. Madi and Tom’s ceremony was at First United Methodist in Downtown Lexington, KY. Their reception then followed afterward at Idle Hour Country Club. The tables were decorated in white linens with gold accents. The floral arrangement was beautiful, with white flowers and greenery. The band made for a fun evening of dancing and celebrating sweet Madi and Tom. We have loved getting to know Madi and Tom this year and capturing their love story. They truly are perfect for each other, and we are so happy for them.

Madi and Tom’s first date was at dinner at Drakes in Lexington, Kentucky.
Tom proposed when Madi flew into Fort Smith, Arkansas, from Lexington to visit him. She was suspicious that it was going to happen and got her hair done beforehand. At this point, they were still dating long-distance. Tom told Madi he would take her to one of the nicest restaurants in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but it was a surprise. As she was getting ready for dinner upstairs, he told Madi that he was too tired from work to go and that she needed to come downstairs and cook. Madi got EXTREMELY angry. But when she finally came downstairs to cook dinner, there were rose petals everywhere, and Tom was down on one knee. Afterward, they went to a steak house for dinner and to celebrate. A few days later, his family flew into Lexington from South Dakota to meet Madi and celebrate the 4th of July, which Tom had also set up beforehand. That was part of the reason why Madi was suspicious! We are so happy for Tom and Madi and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure. Congratulations, you two!
