Diana and Doug’s wedding was at Champion Trace – Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Diana looked gorgeous in her lace wedding dress. Her girls wore black dresses and jumpsuits. Their bouquets were filled with white and pink flowers. Doug and his groomsmen looked handsome in their grey suits and green ties. Diana and Doug’s ceremony was outside, overlooking the beautiful golf course and lake. Their reception followed out on the gorgeous patio. The tables were decorated with white linens and candles. They even had a beautiful stone fireplace. We celebrated with some romantic bride and groom photos around the golf course at sunset. We have had so much fun celebrating Diana and Doug this year, capturing their love story.
Diana and Doug first met in high school. Doug’s brother was one of Diana’s best friends, so they all ran together. They’ve known each other most of their lives. However, life took Diana and Doug in different directions for many years. Thirty years later, they reconnected at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Doug knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Diana. He took Diana to Christmas at Biltmore in Ashville, NC, and proposed on her Mother’s birthday. Doing this was very special to Diana since her Mother has been gone for many years. It made her feel like her Mother was a part of the day. Doug proposed at the “Diana” statue on the hill overlooking the Biltmore. We are so happy for Doug and Diana and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure. Congratulations, you two!
