Fall Wedding at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Jenn and David’s wedding was at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Lost River cave is a historic gem nestled in the heart of the city. Jenn looked gorgeous in her lace wedding dress. Her bridesmaids wore purple bridesmaid dresses, and their bouquets were filled with purple and white flowers. David and his groomsmen looked handsome in their grey suits. David and Jenn’s romantic ceremony was under the forest canopy just after sunset. Their reception followed in the cave, lit by a chandelier dressed in white drapery. The tables were decorated with white tablecloths and light-up table arrangements. The cake was a purple geode cake decorated with golden flakes. Everyone had so much fun dancing the night away and celebrating with Jenn and David. We have loved getting to know Jenn and David this year and celebrating their love story.

Jenn and David met in their Mandarin 2 class at school and instantly connected. Jenn and David became best friends and were always hanging out. They officially started dating on October 1, 2015. David knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jenn. So he planned a perfect day. They started with a zip line excursion, with a photo-op set up at each platform. Afterward, Jenn and David went on a hike to a scenic waterfall setting up a picnic on a rock in the middle of a stream. David needed to get Jenn to stand up, so he yanked her to her feet, pointed to the tree line on the mountainside above, and said, “Look! A Bear!” David then got down on one knee and asked Jenn to spend forever with him as his wife. To which Jenn nodded and cried, and eventually, 30 minutes later, she remembered to verbally say “Yes!” David, Jenn, and Selene spent the rest of the day exploring the waterfalls, going swimming in the freezing water, and soaking up the moment, completely in love. Jenn and David got married on their 7th anniversary. Congratulations, Jenn and David! We are so happy for you two and wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
