WELCOME TO KEVIN AND ANNA'S WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Fun Countryside Engagement Session with a Sunflower Field in Lexington, KY

Lauren and Aaron’s engagement session was on their property outside Lexington, Kentucky. Aaron recently purchased the property with plans to build their family home and celebrate their wedding day. We had so much fun exploring their beautiful land and the surrounding farms, getting to know Aaron and Lauren and hearing all about their love story. Their adorable dogs, Lucy and Arlo, also joined us for the celebration. We also loved visiting their friend’s farm, which had sunflowers and a flowering tobacco field.

Aaron and Lauren’s first date was at Wellington Dog Park with each of their dogs – Arlo and Lucy. Together they love spending time with their dogs, cooking, going to the lake, and spending time with their family and friends. Aaron knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Lauren. They were heading out of town for the weekend, and Aaron was adamant about taking the dogs out to their property to run before they took them to the kennel. Once there, Aaron got down on one knee at the exact location they plan to have their wedding ceremony. Lauren, of course, said yes! Lauren wanted an antique ring. Aaron worked with a dealer to find an engagement ring from the 1940s. The dealer located the ring at an estate sale in Rhode Island – where Lauren lived for six years. We are so happy for Lauren and Aaron and loved getting to celebrate this part of their love story with them. Congratulation, Lauren, and Aaron!
