WELCOME TO KEVIN AND ANNA'S WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

We love being wedding photographers and want to provide you with the most satisfying experience possible, ensuring that you enjoy your time with us and have fun in the process. We have photographed over 150 weddings together in the past 11 years.

Summer Wedding at Spindletop Hall in Lexington, Kentucky

Fontaine and Dean were married at the beautiful and historic Spindletop Hall in Lexington, Kentucky. The venue is located on a beautiful farm looking over the gorgeous countryside. Fontaine looked stunning in her silk wedding dress and long cathedral veil. Her girls wore long red dresses, and their bouquets were filled with white and red flowers. Dean and his groomsmen looked handsome in their navy suits and red roses. Fontaine and Dean’s ceremony was held in the romantic library of Spindletop Hall. Their reception followed afterward in the ballroom. The tables were decorated with red and blue accents with bourbon bottles. Fontaine and Dean had a beautiful sunset, and we loved taking some special photos and celebrating with them. We have loved getting to know Fontaine and Dean this year and capturing their love story.

Fontaine and Dean met shortly after Fontaine graduated from Spelman College in 2006. She was having fun at a close friend’s bachelorette party when she caught Dean’s eye. Dean said he knew he could not let her “get away,” so he asked for Fontaine’s phone number, and they started dating. For their first date, Dean invited Fontaine to play pool. She, being the “girly girl,” politely declined, lol. So instead, he took her to his favorite local taco restaurant for their first date. It was there that Fontaine discovered his “quick, witty banter” matched hers perfectly. Dean had a comeback for EVERYTHING, and they spent most of the night laughing and enjoying each other’s energy. The food was awful, so he invited her over to his place for their second date, and he cooked dinner for her.

Dean knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Fontaine. So he proposed to her on the 4th of July weekend. It was just the two of them as he confessed his love and desire to be together for the rest of their lives. Needless to say, she said yes, and they spent the rest of the weekend celebrating under the beautiful neighborhood fireworks. Fontaine knew Dean was the one because he was the only man she had ever met that she could just “be” with. It doesn’t matter what they’re doing; whether they’re in the house relaxing or on the move, she knows she’s going to be laughing and having the best time. We are so happy for Fontaine and Dean and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
