Gabbi and Jimmy’s wedding was at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Lost River Cave is a unique and adventureous cave that brings people from all over to see it. It’s not every day that you get to say you got married in a cave. Gabbi looked beautiful in her lace-off-the-shoulder wedding dress. Her bridesmaids wore long black dresses with the bottom skirt in colorful bright pink, orange, and purple colors. Their bouquets were also filled with brightly colored flowers of orange, purple, pink, and yellow. Jimmy and his groomsmen looked handsome in their purple jacket tuxes and black bowtie. Jimmy also wore a fantastic top hat accompanied by a dragon cane.
Their ceremony was under a forest canopy just after sunset. It was such a romantic setting surrounded by their family and friends. Their wedding reception followed inside the mouth of the cave. The tables were decorated in purple tablecloths with small trees and hanging candles. The cake was incredibly unique and decorated with a dragon. A large chandelier and drapery hung in the middle of the dance floor as everyone danced the night away, celebrating Gabbi and Jimmy. We have loved getting to know Gabbi and Jimmy, capturing this part of their love story.
One evening in high school, Gabbi was with her friend on the way to a bonfire. They stopped by to pick up Gabbi’s friend’s boyfriend. When they pulled up, Jimmy came out and leaned into the window. They talked for a minute and decided to invite Jimmy to the bonfire. By the end of the night, Gabbi got his number. After the bonfire, Gabbi texted Jimmy, and he invited her over to a party at his house later that week. Little did she know he had only thrown the party as a way of getting Gabbi to come over. They had fun and flirted a bunch. Jimmy managed to steal a kiss after he dropped Gabbi off at home after the party. Jimmy and Gabbi were high school sweethearts who went their separate ways in college. Five years later, they found their way back to each other, and the rest is history. Jimmy proposed at a music festival called the Electric Forest. They had just finished enjoying a few nighttime shows and exploring the forest when they headed back to camp. At camp, it was only the two of them. Gabbi made a joke that he had no magic left, and that’s when Jimmy decided to prove her wrong and pull out a ring and ask Gabbi to marry him. Gabbi sobbed like a baby and said yes. The engagement ring center stone was a Valentine’s Day gift from his late dad to his mother many years ago. After his dad’s passing, Jimmy decided to propose to Gabbi with this ring that his mom had given him. Jimmy then added the four marquis diamonds because Gabbi had always talked about how much she loved Marquis. The ring turned out perfect! Congratulations, Gabbi and Jimmy. We are so happy for you two. You are perfect for each other, and we wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
