Sunset Engagement Session at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky

Heather and Eric’s engagement session was at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. They had a gorgeous fall day filled with beautiful golden light. We loved getting to go on an adventure with them and hear all about their love story.

Heather and Eric first started chatting on Bumble. Neither of them had gone out on a date with someone they met online before. A week later, Heather was supposed to meet up with her college coach, who was in town for a track meet, but Eric asked her on a date. So instead, Heather decided to go on a date with Eric. Eric offered to pick Heather up, but Heather was leary since they met online, so she decided to drive herself. They went to Malone’s for happy hour. Heather and Eric had so much fun getting to know each other that they decided to go to the SEC bar for a few more hours and the night ended with a hug. That night they spent 5 hours together on their first date and have been together ever since. Together Heather and Eric love to travel, shop, golf, swim at the pool, go to the beach, take walks, hike, cook/bake, entertain/throw parties, and watch shows.

Eric had taken Heather to the jewelry store to get her ring size and to see what she liked. At one point, Heather had several rings on and pointed out the different things she liked. Eric paid attention to all the details. He went back the next week and had a ring custom-made and picked out all the stones. Eric and Heather went to Sedona, Arizona, for vacation. During a hike at Cathedral Rock Trail halfway up, Eric proposed because the “easy hike” wasn’t so easy. It was just the two of them at 6 am. After they finished the hike, they celebrated with champagne and breakfast at a local spot. We can’t wait to celebrate with Heather and Eric next year on their wedding day.
