Outdoor Wedding at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky

Taylor and Joe’s Wedding was at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky. Taylor looked beautiful in her flowing lace dress and veil that was also a cape. Taylor’s girls wore long green dresses, and their bouquets were filled with stunning flowers in colors of pink, purple, and red. Joe and his groomsmen wore a classic black suit and pink tie. Taylor and Joe were married outside, overlooking the beautiful golf course. Their reception followed in a large white tent. Inside, the tent was decorated with large trees, candles, glass-colored vases filled with flowers, and colorful uplighting. They definitely put a lot of love and work into all of the details. We took Taylor and Joe out for sunset to celebrate their special day. We are so happy for Joe and Taylor and loved getting to capture this part of their love story.

Joe and Taylor first met when Joe worked as a night auditor at the Embassy Suites on Newtown Pike in Lexington, Kentucky. Taylor was working the morning shift at her family’s gas station across the street. Joe got off every morning and visited the gas station before going home to get gas, beer, or a pack of smokes. Eventually, through her cousin and a few hints to Joe, he realized that she liked him. So he gave her his number one morning. Their first date was at Merico’s in Lexington. They had fun playing pool and darts. Together Joe and Taylor love cooking and going on long drives in the country. Joe knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Taylor. So when she least expected it, he proposed at home. The diamond was Taylor’s paternal grandmother’s ring, which made it even more special.
