Intimate Backyard Wedding in the Highlands in Louisville, Kentucky

Sarah and John were married in the backyard of their home in the Highlands near Cherokee Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Sarah looked gorgeous in her beautiful wedding dress, and John looked handsome in his navy tux. They had a beautiful backyard ceremony and reception surrounded by their closest family and friends. The backdrop of their ceremony was a beautiful ivy wall with hanging flowers. For dinner, everyone ate outside on gorgeous farm tables under hanging lights. We loved getting to capture Sarah and John’s wedding day love story. They were both so sweet, and we could not be happier for them.

Sarah and John first met on a dating app but knew they had something special from the first swipe right. For their first date, John came from Louisville to visit Boston. They spent the day in Boston going out to eat, walking around the city, and having a blast. Together John and Sarah love to travel and explore new cities and countries. John is hoping to get to 40 countries in 40 years. Six more countries to go before December! John knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Sarah. So he planned to propose on a trip they took to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, last summer. One night Sarah and John went stargazing in Grand Teton National Park, which is one of her favorite things to do. John proposed while they were out that night looking at stars! Congratulations, Sarah and John! We wish you many years of love, happiness, and adventure!
