Summer Engagement Session in Downtown Lexington, KY at Gratz Park

Allison and Justin’s engagement session was in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, at Gratz Park. It was the perfect spot to celebrate their engagement with the historic buildings and beautiful gardens. We had so much fun with these two as we explored downtown and heard all about their love story.

Allison and Justin are so perfect for each other. You can tell they have so much fun together and are smitten with one another. Allison and Justin met through the Bumble app. For their first date, they couldn’t decide on a restaurant. So Allison went to the grocery store and picked up everything breakfast-related, and they cooked breakfast for dinner. Now they have a weekly tradition of cooking breakfast for dinner every week. Allison and Justin love spending time together and especially traveling. They love to go on adventures, whether it’s hitting up local restaurants, shops, or great hiking spots.

Justin knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Allison. Her best friend’s birthday was in July, so Justin planned a girl’s date for Allison and her friend to go to brunch and get massages. Secretly Justin was setting everything up to propose that day. Justin had asked Allison if he and her friend’s boyfriend could join them for brunch as a double date, and she, of course, said yes. After brunch, the girls headed to the massage while Justin set up at the Arboretum. Her friend told the masseuse that there was a beautiful butterfly exhibit happening at the Arboretum and that they should stop by there after the massage. Allison agreed, and so they stopped by the Arboretum. When they arrived, Justin was standing underneath the beautiful flower pergola holding a bouquet of roses, and instantly Allison knew what was about to happen!! Needless to say, there wasn’t a butterfly in sight, but she didn’t even care. It was the most wonderful day! We can’t wait to celebrate their special day with Allison and Justin this fall. Stay tuned for their wedding day love story!
