Fall Elopement at the Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky

Pauline and Corey’s got married at the Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky. They had a gorgeous sunny fall day. Their original plan was to elope out of the country, but due to Covid, their plans had to change. The gardens were breathtaking and filled with so many pretty flowers, making the perfect spot to get married. Pauline looked gorgeous in her lace long sleeve wedding dress, and Corey was handsome in his navy suit. It was a romantic and intimate ceremony with just Corey and Pauline’s parents. After the ceremony, they went into the barn to have a glass of champagne and celebrate their special day. We walked around the beautiful grounds of Springhouse Gardens, getting to know Pauline and Corey and hearing all about their love story.

Corey and Pauline met through mutual friends. Pauline had gone through a terrible relationship, but it was like love at first sight when she met Corey. Somehow they both knew that they were going to be important to each other. Corey brought Pauline back to life after being in a pretty dark place, and he quickly became her best friend and confidant. For their first date, they went to get Mexican food. Together they talked for hours. Being together, they felt so comfortable with each other. Together Corey and Pauline love to play card and board games, binge-watching shows, taking their 3 dogs on walks/hikes, cooking and enjoying wine together, working in our yard/gardening, and traveling.

Corey knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Pauline. So he proposed at home, just the two of them and their dogs. They both tend to lean towards having more intimate moments to themselves- one of the reasons they were happy to have a micro wedding! After the proposal, Corey planned a cookout with their families to celebrate. We were so honored to capture Pauline and Corey’s special day. We are so happy for them and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
