Keely and Elon’s engagement session was on a family farm in Sharpsburg, Kentucky. It is a special place for them because Keely’s grandparent’s owned it. They also plan to build a house on the property one day. Keely and Elon showed us around their farm filled with a pond, tall grass, multiple barns, and rolling hills. They had a gorgeous night and a glowing sunset. We loved walking around, getting to know them, and hearing all about their love story.
Keely and Elon first met when they were in Kindergarten. It was so long ago that neither of them can remember the details of how they met. Keely and Elon remained friends throughout school until their sophomore year of high school when everything changed. Elon asked Keely on a fun first date to see Garth Brooks in concert with Keely’s parents and grandparents. Later they then had their first solo date with dinner and a drive-in movie. Together Keely and Elon love the outdoors. They enjoy being together, whether it’s going fishing or just taking a walk through the woods.
Elon knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Keely. She had always made jokes about Elon putting something random on her finger when he proposed. So while Keely and Elon were at a family cookout, Keely said, put that bread tie on my finger.” Elon then got down on one knee and put the bread tie on her finger. He then pulled out the actual ring, and she, of course, said yes! We are so happy for Keely and Elon and can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day with them this fall! Stay tuned for the rest of their wedding day love story coming soon!
