Amy and Jay had a romantic wedding elopement on a beautiful farm in Georgetown, KY. They originally planned to get married and have a large celebration, but due to Covid-19, their plans had to quickly change. Amy and Jay had already rented a beautiful house on a farm where they had originally planned to get ready, as luck would have it. The farm ended up being the perfect spot for them to tie the know. Amy and Jay’s family and a few friends surrounded them as they vowed to love each other forever. After their ceremony, they had a champagne toast, and then we were off to celebrate with some romantic photos. We loved getting to meet Amy and Jay and learn all about their love story. They made their wedding day perfect, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
Amy and Jay have known each other since they were little kids. Their parents worked together and would often hang out together at the racetrack. They started dating their senior year of high school and went to see the movie the Bounty Hunter for their first date. Together they love hiking with their dog Wally, talking about horses, watching tv shows, and learning how to make cocktails. Jay proposed on the beach in Charleston, SC, on a family vacation. Amy loves the ocean, so it was so special to be able to celebrate with family. Afterward, they went out to dinner, where Jay’s family had driven down to surprise him. We are so happy for Amy and Jay and so blessed to have been a part of their wedding. We can’t wait to celebrate with them next year as they renew their vows and celebrate with all their family and friends.
