Early Spring Engagement Session at Gratz Park in Downtown Lexington, KY

Gabby and Tyler’s engagement session was in downtown Lexington, KY. We visited the iconic Gratz Park and a few other locations, including the Apiary. We had so much fun celebrating with these two as they get ready for their wedding day this spring! It is easy to see how much these two love each other. Gabby looked absolutely gorgeous in her red dress, and Tyler looked dapper in his jacket and red tie. Their sweet pup Andy also joined in on the fun with us for a few photos. We loved exploring downtown Lexington with Gabby and Tyler and hearing all about their love story!

Gabby and Tyler first met at a dinner at a Christian single’s group through Southland Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky. A week later, they went out on a date to a Halloween party dressed as Prince Eric and Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Later that night, Tyler asked Gabby to be his girlfriend. Their official first date was at Malone’s for dinner. Afterward, Gabby went to work with Tyler, a veterinarian and helped him fill syringes. Together they love spending their time going to church, reading to one another, and playing with their german shepherd, Andrew von Schraderhous Bennett.

Tyler knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Gabby. So after four months of dating, Tyler proposed on January 15, 2020, at the 21c Museum Hotel in Lexington, KY. He gave Gabby a Bible engraved with Mrs. Gabby Bennett with the ring tied inside. The diamond was a family heirloom. One of their favorite Bible verses is: “God is so good, and his blessings and favor are on our hearts. We honor and praise God for the gift of each other.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Gabby and Tyler couldn’t be more perfect for each other, and we can’t wait to celebrate them this spring as they get married at Calvary Baptist Church in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
