July Engagement Photos at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, KY

Emily and Austin’s engagement session was at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. It was a gorgeous sunny night. The fields were filled with colorful wildflowers along the rolling hills. When we first met Emily and Austin we knew right away that we were going to have a lot of fun together. They were both so sweet and it was so evident that they were perfect for each other and so in love. We had a wonderful night getting to know them and hearing all about their love story.

Emily and Austin both attended Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. However, they didn’t meet until they both attended a mission trip to Irapuato, Mexico in December of 2017. Emily and Austin became quick friends during the trip as they spent time abroad renovating and remodeling a church. They also played with local children together during Vacation Bible School. When they arrived back in the states they had their first date at the movies. Together they love to hike, watch movies, travel and try new things together. Austin knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Emily. So he decided to take Emily on a hike to Rock Bridge and Creation Falls in the Red River Gorge. When they arrived at the top of the waterfall Emily turned around to see Austin proposing. She of course said, Yes!
