Summer Wedding at the Cliffview Resort in the Red River Gorge

Andy and Chau’s wedding was at the Cliffview Resort in the Red River Gorge. Chau looked beautiful in her long sleeve lace dress. She wore a beautiful flower crown of purple and cream flowers. Her girls were dressed in mismatched purple and pink dresses. Andy and his groomsmen looked dapper in their mismatched suits. Andy and Chau shared their first look in the forest. It was such a sweet moment when they saw each other for the first time. These two are so in love and perfect for each other. Their ceremony was inside the lodge due to a massive storm that rolled through. They didn’t let a little rain get them down. The rain subsided and we went out to celebrate their love story with some romantic photos. Their reception followed in the lodge where the tables were dressed in flowers, wooden boxes, candles, and wine. The night ended at dusk with smores by the fire.

We are so honored that Andy and Chau asked us to capture their wedding day love story. We have loved getting to know these two and we wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure. Their love story first began many years ago. They first met at the Knollwood Country Club in Granada Hill, California. Chau had become the catering director. Andy and his longtime friend and roommate Jay one day went to say hello. They asked if Chau wanted to grab a beer to which she replied, “Hmmmmm….let me think…….NO!” Their romance blossomed from there. Andy and Chau’s first date was In-N-Out Burger. Andy was impressed because she wanted him to pick up two double-doubles with fries and a strawberry shake. She then told Andy to pick something up for himself too! Once Andy knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Chau. He took her on an epic treasure hunt that spanned throughout the San Fernando Valley and up to Eagle’s Peak in the Santa Monica Mountains. She received the final clue in front of their apartment toilet where Andy proposed. Chau, of course, said yes!
