Nate and Asope’s Nigerian wedding ceremony was held in downtown Lexington, Kentucky at the Livery. Their friends and family traveled from all over the world including Nigeria and London to celebrate Nate and Asope’s wedding. They decided to do a traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony with all of their guests the Thursday before their wedding. Everyone was dressed in Nigerian tradition with beautiful colors from teal pink, blue, and purple. Their ceremony was filled with lots of dancing, singing, praying, and laughter. Nate begged for permission to marry Asope and the two families joined together to welcome their new daughter and son.
Asope and Nate wore several outfits during the celebration of their Nigerian wedding ceremony. Asope looked gorgeous in her three outfits of orange, navy, and pink. She was dressed in gold jewelry and large feathered fans decorated with jewels. As their friends and family prayed for the couple Asope opened a special gift which was a Bible making Christ the center of their relationship. Nate placed a ring on Asope’s finger and the two were married. Afterward, they celebrated with a large meal and dancing. Be sure to check back soon for the photos from their wedding at Christ the King and the Mane on Main in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
