Sydney and Drew’s Engagement Session at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, KY

Sydney and Drew’s engagement session was at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. It was a perfect spot to celebrate their engagement session from the fields of wildflowers to the beautiful historic houses and even some cows. We had so much fun exploring the beautiful countryside and hearing all about Sydney and Drew’s love story. We can’t wait to celebrate with them at their wedding at Keeneland!

Sydney and Drew first met on Tinder. Tinder had a glitch and actually matched them twice in a row. They had their first date on New Year’s Eve. Drew said a pretty cheesy pickup line about it being fate that they met since they were matched twice in a row.  They went to a restaurant in town and talked for hours. It is still their go-to spot. Together they love to spend time with their sweet little boy and shoot their bows.

Once Drew knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Sydney. They took a trip to New York City. Drew was acting a little strange the whole trip. At one point Sydney face timed her parents and her dad answered with a huge grin on his face which was strange to Sydney. Obviously, he knew something she didn’t. Sydney and Drew decided to go for a walk in Central Park. They ended up looking at a turtle pond at the Belvedere Castle. Drew reached in his backpack and pulled out a book called “My Reasons Why.” He had made a personalized book that was filled with things they like to do together. At the very end, the last page said, “Will you marry me?” Sydney looked behind her and Drew was down on one knee. She, of course, said yes! We are so excited to share some of our favorite photos from their engagement session.
