Everett's Adventurous Mountains and Woodland Animals Nursery

We can’t believe our little boy is 3 months old! Where has the time flown? These photos were taken just after he turned 2 months. A lot of heart went into planning for his arrival. When we were picking out everything for his nursery we began to see an underlying theme of mountains and woodland animals. Together these two things represent something that Kevin and I (Anna) adore. We love to travel and go on epic road trips all around the United States. Together we have been to some pretty amazing places and so we are dreaming of the day when we can take Everett. We want him to have an adventurous and brave heart. His name actually means “Strong as a Wild Boar.” So what better way than to fill his room with all things adventurous.

So many people loved Everett even before they met him. He has gifted so many sweet things from his crib, books, dresser, toys, clothes, bookshelf and so much more. One of my favorite gifts is a small rocking chair that is almost 100 years old and was my grandmother’s when she was a little girl. Our parents and siblings gave us all the furniture for his room that we are so in love with. Everything we picked out was with so much love for Everett. We are loving all his little milestones and can’t wait for the day when he will be wild in his nursery.

Our fellow friend and photographer took the time to capture a day in our home with our sweet Everett. We will cherish these memories forever of us cuddling our little boy, running his train, and reading him books with his doggie Glory. I know we won’t be able to freeze time forever, but capturing these sweet moments will always help us to remember our precious time with him as a little baby.
