Annie and Corey’s wedding was at the breathtaking Apiary in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Annie and her girls got ready at the 21c Museum Hotel. She looked stunning in her long sleeve blush gown and cathedral veil. Her girls wore long all white dresses. Their bouquets were filled with blush and white flowers. Corey and his groomsmen looked dapper in their classic black tuxes with bowties. Annie and Corey shared their first look in the garden at the Apiary. Their ceremony was in a large white tent with a hanging chandelier. The backdrop was a stunning flower wall. It was such a romantic ceremony filled with so much love and joy. Their reception followed inside the beautifully decorated hall. The tables were dressed in blush tablecloths and decorated with white flowers and gold accents. Their friends and family danced the night away with them as they celebrated their special day. We have loved getting to know Annie and Cory this year. They are both so amazing and sweet. We felt so loved by all their family and friends. It has been an honor capturing this chapter of their love story.
Corey was a personal trainer at the gym Annie was a member of. She saw his sweet smile and how kind he was to others and so she had to find out who he was. They became friends a couple of months later and Corey started to pursue a relationship with Annie. It was during a time that Annie least expected it since she was about to have two major surgeries within 3 months of each other. Their first date was a fun dinner at Tony’s of Lexington for Corey’s birthday. As Annie began to have her surgeries Corey never left her side. Annie knew she was in love! After 7 months of dating, Corey knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Annie. He and his mom planned an elaborate scheme so Annie would not be suspicious. Corey told Annie that he wanted to go to a UK basketball game. Instead, he took her to the Artist Attic in Victorian Square. A booth was decorated there by both of their moms and Corey. Annie’s sister had painted a canvas that said, will you marry me?” Annie uncovered the canvas and read the words as Corey got down on one knee. It was the sweetest moment and she said, Yes! Annie and Corey are both so sweet and we are so excited as they start their new life together. We wish them so many years of love, happiness, and adventure.
