September Wedding at the Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio

Katie and Nick’s wedding took place in Cincinnati, Ohio. They got ready at the beautiful Kenwood Country Club. Katie looked gorgeous in her lace dress. Her girls wore long blue dresses and their bouquets where filled with an assortment of pink, purple, and white flowers. Nick looked dapper in his navy suit and gold vest. His groomsmen wore navy suits and tie. Katie and Nick shared their first look behind the Kenwood Country Club surrounded by beautiful flowers. It was such a sweet moment they shared before their ceremony at All Saints Catholic Church. Katie’s uncle married them in her hometown church. Surrounded by family and friends they said, “I Do.” Their reception followed after at the Kenwood Country Club. The reception hall was dressed with white linens. The tables were decorated with cold and navy accents. Each table had a mini cake as the centerpiece. Together Katie and Nick danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones. It was a beautiful evening filled with so much love and joy for this amazing couple. We have loved getting to know Katie and Nick. We feel so honored that they allowed us to tell their wedding day love story.

Katie and Nick met in chemistry class while they were both attending the University of Notre Dame. They were told to form study groups on the first day of class. So a mutual friend added them both to her group for the semester. Their first date was out to dinner and to see a comedy show on campus. As their relationship grew Nick knew he wanted to make Katie forever his. He decided to propose to Katie at Notre Dame at all of the places that are special to both of them. At each place, there was a poem and a bouquet of flowers waiting for her. The final stop was one of Katie’s favorite places on campus. Nick proposed and asked Katie if she would marry him. Of course, she said yes! We wish Katie and Nick many years of love, happiness, and adventure. They are so perfect for each other and can see how much joy they bring into each other’s life.
