Surprise Engagement Proposal at Crank and Boom Ice Cream in Lexington, KY

Sean’s surprise engagement proposal to Jaryn was as sweet as it could be. When he told us he wanted us to capture this special moment in their life we could have not have felt more honored. He told us just how amazing she was and we couldn’t wait to hear all the details that he had planned for Jaryn. He wanted to take her back to where it all began and where they had part of their first date. Sean and Jaryn’s friends both pressured them to set up online dating profiles. They had both prayed for their future significant other. There were many things that needed to fall into place for Sean and Jaryn to meet and be the right ones for each other. While setting up Jaryn’s account somehow her birthday got messed up. Little did they know that this little mishap would set them up to be the perfect match along with many other things on their dating site. For their first date, they went to Bella Notte and had dinner. Sean had planned to take Jaryn to a comedy club but they enjoyed chatting so much that they lost track of time. Instead, they decided to go to Crank and Boom Ice Cream to continue talking and getting to know each other. Jaryn started to have Sean’s heart from there. Right away he could tell that God had worked out in his perfect timing for a woman that had every characteristic that he could have ever hoped and dreamed of in a future wife.

Together they discovered just how perfect they were for each other and how much they loved doing life together. Some of their favorite moments have been watching movies, working out, hiking & being active together, eating food/sweets and being bums together, and going on trips (adventures) to new places (paddle boarding, CMA Fest, boat/train rides, water tubing, horse/pupper races, shooting at the gun range, putt-putt). All in all, they just love spending time with one another.

Sean had told Jaryn that he wanted to meet some of his friends for lunch at Goodfella’s Pizza. When they arrived he told her that their friends were running a little late. So he mentioned that they should go to Crank and Boom to meet some of his other friends before. When they arrived they headed upstairs to the vault room. Instead, Jaryn found a large heart in the middle of the floor with white and red rose petals lined with candles. A video was playing to the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Sean grabbed Jaryn by the hand and took her into the center of the flower heart. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She, of course, said, Yes! They held each other tight and celebrated. Sean and Jaryn then turned around and watched the sweet video that Sean had made. Afterward, we celebrated with them by taking some fun photos and eating Crank and Boom Ice Cream. We are so happy for these two and can’t wait for them to start this new chapter in their love story! Congratulations Sean and Jaryn!
