Hello friends we are Kevin and Anna, a Lexington, Kentucky-based husband and wife wedding photography team.

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

Outdoor Summer Wedding at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, KY

Madison and Ryan’s wedding took place on a gorgeous day in June at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky. Madison looked stunning in her blush wedding gown and lace top from Renee’s Bridal. Her bridesmaids were dressed in gold glittery long dresses. Their bouquets were filled with roses, peonies, astrantia, ranunculus, and eucalyptus.  Ryan looked dapper in his navy suit and blush accents. His groomsmen looked handsome in their grey suits. Madison and Ryan’s outdoor ceremony was held at the Overlook at Griffin Gate. This beautiful ceremony location overlooks the golf course, giant pond, weeping willows, and bridges. Their reception followed in the Grand Ballroom. The tables were decorated with gorgeous tall centerpieces, and dressed in navy, blush, and gold accents. Madison and Ryan’s friends and family celebrated with the newlyweds and danced the night away.

Madison and Ryan decided to join Ryan’s family for a vacation at Navarre Beach. Ryan’s Mom hid the ring in her luggage and kept it safe while they were at the condo. Everybody planned to take some family photos on the beach on their last day. This was when Ryan planned to propose but he couldn’t wait that long. While the whole family was in the living room Ryan went into his Mom’s room desperately trying to search for the ring. His Mom went to find Ryan and told him that she had it safe. Ryan informed his Mom that he had waited long enough and wanted to propose that night. So Ryan’s Mom secretly let the family know what was going to happen and suggested that they all go for a walk on the beach for sunset. Madison was a little confused not knowing where Ryan was or why he hadn’t talked to her since they got to the condo. Ryan started walking towards the water while his brother and stepdad made funny jokes to distract Madison from seeing his mom taking a video. Ryan called Madison over to the ocean where he was standing. He pointed down to the sand by her feet where he had written, “Will you marry me?” Tears began to roll down Ryan’s cheeks as he got down on one knee. Madison said, “Hurry put it on my finger.” After she realized what had happened and her heart was back in rhythm she double checked to say, “Yes!”

Their day was simply magical and we felt so honored that they chose us to capture their special day. We have loved getting to know Madison and Ryan and we wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure.
