Summer Outdoor Wedding at the Bluegrass Pavilion and Patio at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, KY

Aly and Larry’s wedding was on a gorgeous summer day in June at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky. Aly looked gorgeous in her lace dress. Her girls wore long blush dresses with crystal belts. Their bouquets were filled with white and pink flowers. Larry and his groomsmen looked dapper in his navy suit and blush tie. They shared not one but two first looks. The first was a sweet moment just to themselves. The second involved Larry surprising Aly with a sweet puppy named Star. Can we talk about the best wedding gift ever? Their ceremony was outside at the Bluegrass Pavilion and Patio. All of their family and friends gathered to celebrate their special day. Their reception followed in a large white tent. The tables were decorated with blush and gold. We had so much fun celebrating Aly and Larry’s special day. For sunset, we took them out on the golf course that is filled with beautiful bridges and a large pond. It was so fun to take a moment and celebrate the love that they have for each other.

Aly and Larry met 4 years ago while they were both working at the same hospital. Their first date was on Valentine’s Day. Aly and Larry love to travel. They decided to go on a romantic cruise together. One night everyone got all dressed up in formal wear. Larry had convinced Aly a few weeks before to go shopping and pick out a new dress just for that night. They went out to dinner that night. The waiter brought out a platter with Aly’s favorite dessert from the ship and her ring. The waiter got everyone’s attention in the dining hall and stated that Larry wanted to ask Aly a question. Rose petals were set out in the shape of a heart. He placed the platter in the middle of them and got down on one knee asking Aly to marry him. We feel so honored that Aly and Larry asked us to photograph their special day. We have loved getting to know them this year and celebrate their sweet love story.
