Hello friends we are Kevin and Anna, a Lexington, Kentucky-based husband and wife wedding photography team.

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

Our story began at a local rock climbing gym, where we met and quickly fell for each other. Our love for rock climbing, hiking & the great outdoors made us a perfect match.

Our wedding took place in 2012 at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We cherish our wedding photos and all of the amazing moments that our photographer captured for us. Our passion is to do the same for you. We understand the magnitude and importance of capturing your wedding day because it only happens once.

Summer Wedding at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, Kentucky

Elizabeth and Sean’s wedding was at the Round Barn Stable of Memories near the Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect! Elizabeth looked gorgeous in her strapless wedding dress and pink ribbon sash. Her girls wore long navy dresses. Sean and his guys looked handsome in their grey tuxes with navy accents. The flower girls looked adorable in their pink tulle dresses while some of the guys wore classic suspenders. Sean and Elizabeth shared their first look right outside of the barn. Afterward, Elizabeth brought out Sean some iced coffee which is one of their favorite drinks to have together. Their ceremony followed inside the Round Barn under the very impressive chandelier. Some of their friends and family were seated in the chairs below while others watched from above on the second floor. Elizabeth and Sean’s reception followed right after with delicious food and treats. They also had a fun photo booth for their guests to enjoy and take home a souvenir to remember their wedding day. As the sun set we took Elizabeth and Sean out for sunset photos to celebrate their special day.

For their first date, Sean and Elizabeth went to Orange Leaf and stayed out way too late laughing and poking at plot holes in their favorite movies. They both became the best of friends and bonded over their love for food and coffee dates. Sean knew he wanted to make Elizabeth forever his so he chose one of his favorite places in the world. In State College, PA there is a little quiet arboretum with a gigantic fountain. On a beautiful sunny day, Sean got down on one knee and asked Elizabeth to marry him. Of course, she said yes! In celebration, they both got in the fountain and Sean handed her the ring box and asked, “What now?” Together they laughed and celebrated taking plenty of pictures to remember this special moment. Elizabeth and Sean are both so sweet and full of love and joy. It was such an honor to get to capture this part of their love story. We wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure.
