Spring Engagement Session with a Cute Dog at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, KY

Amber and Brandon’s engagement session was at the beautiful Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Shaker Village is a gorgeous place known for its old historic buildings, white fences, and rolling hills. It looked absolutely beautiful filled with flowering trees in the apple orchard. We had so much fun exploring Shaker Village with these two sweethearts and their sweet dog Remington that was gifted to Amber by Brandon 4 years ago. Amber and Brandon met during their junior year of high school in English class. After about 6 months of talking at school and texting, they finally hung out outside of school to work on “homework” and of course “just as friends.” Their first date was at a Steak n Shake in Frankfort, KY. From there on out, they became high school sweethearts.

On a Sunday night in early January Amber’s Mom invited both of them over for a family dinner. When they arrived everything seemed normal except Brandon kept walking around. He mentioned that his parents would be stopping by to get his car while they were in Versailles to fix something. Amber and her family were sitting around talking when Brandon’s family showed up. He went outside to meet them but when he walked back inside he had a bouquet of roses and got down on one knee. Amber was speechless! Then, of course, she said yes!
