Leigh and Brian were married on a beautiful day in March at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Signs of the end of winter could be seen with a few purple trees starting to bloom welcoming in spring. Buffalo Trace is known for it’s Kentucky bourbon as well as being one of the oldest distilleries in Kentucky. It is filled with so many amazing places from the historic buildings and gardens to the iconic bourbon barrel room.
Brian and Leigh both got ready at the clubhouse which is located between the distillery and a beautiful garden. Leigh looked gorgeous in her silk gown while Brian looked dapper in his classic black tux and green bowtie and cufflinks. They shared a first look on the porch of the clubhouse taking in every little detail that they chose for each other. Their ceremony was inside the clubhouse with their backdrop as a large stone fireplace. All of their friends and family surrounded them as they made their sweet vows. After the reception, their guests went on a private tour of Buffalo Trace Distillery. During the tour, we got to steal Brian and Leigh away for some photos to celebrate their special day. The reception was beautifully decorated with uplighting setting the scene perfectly for a fun evening. Brian and Leigh shared many sweet and memorable moments with their family and friends.
When Leigh first moved to Louisville she wanted to meet some new people. She found an online forum for local people getting together to hang out. A handful of people showed up, but Brian stuck around the longest to chat. Brian reached out a couple of weeks later to Leigh and they began to hang out. After several weeks of getting to know each other and becoming friends, they decided to go on an official date to see Cirque du Soleil. From that point on they knew that there was something special between them and they began to be more than just friends. As their love grew Brian decided to make Leigh forever his. After a date night consisting of a movie and dinner, they went back home. Brian proposed to Leigh but wanted to make sure he picked out the perfect ring. Together they picked out the most special ring. The gem is a blue sapphire and the band is made out of a meteorite. It was the perfect ring because it is one of a kind. We are so happy for Leigh and Brian and wish them many years of love, adventure, and happiness.
