Outdoor Summer Wedding at Gratz Park and the Downtown Hilton in Lexington, KY

Amanda and Justin were married on a beautiful summer day at Gratz Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Gratz Park is a romantic park in the center of downtown lined with historic houses. Amanda and Justin’s wedding was filled with gold sparkle and classic black and white. We love all of the details Amanda chose from the gold bridesmaid dresses to her jewelry and shoes. The girl’s bouquets were filled with garden roses, ranunculus, freesia, and lisianthus. Amanda looked beautiful in her lace dress and cathedral veil. Justin and his groomsmen looked dapper in their classic black and white tux. Amanda and Justin shared their first look at the historic Keene Place located on the grounds of Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. It was a classic romantic Kentucky setting for them to take each other in before their ceremony. After Amanda and Justin said “I do” they spent a few moments in an intimate garden celebrating their lifetime commitment to each other. Their reception followed at the Downtown Lexington Hilton. The tables were dressed with black and gold and lit with romantic candlelight.

Amanda and Justin’s first date was at a local Lexington restaurant called Harry’s. The first night went so well that they immediately had a second date the very next day. These two have been inseparable since. The proposal happened at a beer festival that they were both attending at Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. At the perfect moment, Justin suggested that they both jump into a photo booth for a couple of pictures. Right before the first flash went off, Justin pulled out the ring and surprised Amanda with it. What a great way to capture that special moment in time.
