Jim and Katie’s wedding was at the amazingly beautiful Barn at Cedar Grove in Greensburg, Kentucky. This venue has so much rustic and romantic southern charm. It truly is a fairy tale place to get married and we couldn’t have been more excited to spend the day with Jim and Katie.
While Katie was attending the University of Kentucky she frequented a local bar where she would always see Jim working at. She always wanted to talk to him, but was always too nervous. One night she decided to stay until close with one of her friends. The tactic paid off and she was finally able to meet Jim.
Jim and Katie are smitten with each other and their love shined through the constant rain on their wedding day. We loved that they involved their dog Thelma who was the dog of honor in the wedding. She even got to be a part of the cake feeding with Katie and Jim. Their reception was decorated with festive fall colors, flowers, antique lanterns and pumpkins.
