Chris and Emily’s Japanese garden engagement session took place at the Yuko-En on the Elkorn in Georgetown, Kentucky. We had a beautiful sunny day with flowers blooming all over the garden. Emily and Chris met during their Freshman Orientation at the University of Notre Dame. They had a lot in common, and quickly became good friends, often studying or going to workout together. They didn’t officially start dating until a year or so later after they met. Their first date was at the Newport Aquarium in Cincinnati, Ohio followed by pizza. They have been together ever since. Chris proposed to Emily by sneaking into her apartment and covering it in rose petals and votive candles. Emily was completely shocked when she opened the door and found Chris waiting for her. We are so excited to celebrate with them at their wedding on New Year’s Eve in Cincinnati, Ohio.
