Romantic Foggy Engagement Session at Keeneland

We woke up bright and early for Megan and Deonne’s engagement session. To our surprise there was a layer of dense fog surrounding Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. The foggy conditions made for a very romantic and mysterious start to the shoot. The sunrise and the fog were spot on, we could not have asked for a better morning.

Megan and Deonne first met when they were working together at the mall in their hometown in South Carolina. On the night of their first date, Deonne was really nervous to meet Megan’s family and showed up with flowers for her mom and a giant pokemon card for her little brother. From there Megan knew he was a keeper and they have been together for almost 10 years.

They moved to Lexington, Kentucky in June from South Carolina so that Megan could do her Pediatrics Residency at the University of Kentucky. On her first day of work, Megan walked upstairs to find the lights dimmed and Bruno Mars’ song “Marry You” playing with Deonne in a full suit at 7 AM. Megan was in shock as he proceeded to drop to one knee and asked her to marry him. She of course answered yes!
