Matt and Carson's Winter Wedding in Jackson, Tennessee

Our friends Matt and Carson were married on a beautiful winter day in Jackson, Tennessee. There was still a little snow left on the ground, which made their wedding day look like a winter wonderland. Carson looked beautiful in her long sleeve lace wedding dress. Her bouquet was filled with white flowers and greenery. The bridesmaids wore long blue dresses with flower bracelets. Matt looked handsome in his navy suit and striped tie. Their ceremony was at Cornerstone Community Church, where Carson attended. The reception followed at the West Tennessee Research and Education Center. We have loved getting to capture Matt and Carson’s love story from their engagement to their wedding day.

Carson and Matt’s mothers had known each other for years. They realized that their kids had a lot in common and that they should meet. After meeting and dating long-distance for a while, they returned back to Kentucky to visit friends for a hike in the Red River Gorge. After a long day of hiking, they arrived at an overlook called Cloud Splitter. Kevin and I (Anna) asked if we could get a picture at the overlook. We then asked Carson and Matt if they wanted a photo. We told them it would be cute if they looked out over the mountains for a photo. Then Carson and Matt turned towards each other and Matt got down on one knee and asked Carson to marry him. She, of course, said yes. Then we all celebrated by taking some engagement photos and going to Miguels Pizza. We are so excited for Matt and Carson and wish you all a lifetime of happiness, love, and adventure.
