Fun Fall Engagement Session at Ashland the Henry Clay Estate in Lexington, KY

Megan and Scott’s engagement session was at Ashland The Henry Clay Estate in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. The fall colors were breathtaking, and leaves filled the ground. We had so much fun walking around Ashland and getting to know Megan and Scott along with their sweet pups.

Megan and Scott met in medical school when they were one table away from each other in the anatomy lab. They started chatting, and Scott clearly tried to woo Megan with his stories. Including the time he was in a Coca-Cola commercial (even though it was just his hand) and how he once kept a carnival goldfish alive for several years. Scott’s silly stories won Megan over, and their playful banter quickly turned into the foundation of their relationship. Their first date was at a restaurant called Tulips. Megan and Scott ate dumplings, and for the rest of the time they were in medical school, it became a staple in their weekly dinners. It was the beginning of their love for takeout. Together Megan and Scott love to do anything that they can do that includes their two dogs, Cali and Tucker! They especially love to take them hiking. Megan and Scott also enjoy working out together and playing board games.

Scott knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Megan. He proposed when they went to San Francisco (where Scott grew up) to visit his family. They drove out to Inspiration Point in the Presidio. It has a beautiful overlook of all of San Francisco, and that’s where Scott asked! Highlights included his best friend hiding in the bushes to take pictures and his family having the house decorated with balloons and flowers when they got home. We are so happy for Scott and Megan and with them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure.
