Fall Engagement Photos at Gratz Park in Downtown Lexington, Kentucky

Travis and Caroline’s engagement session was at Gratz Park in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. The fall colors were starting to change. It was the perfect evening with a glowing sunset. We had so much fun walking around downtown and celebrating their engagement, and hearing all about their love story.

In the Fall of 2015, Caroline and Travis first met at a get together at a friend’s house. Caroline was friends with Jessica, and Travis was friends with Jessica’s boyfriend, Sammy. Their group of friends would often get together to watch the CATS play football, eat food, and hang out. On November 13, at Caroline’s 24th birthday party, the whole group ended up all going out together. Travis and Caroline spent most of the night talking to each other, finding out they had a lot in common. They both love animals, soccer, the medical field, traveling, craft beer, and sweet treats. A week later, Travis Facebook messaged Caroline about going to the “friendsgiving” event they were both invited to together. They started dating, and by the end of January, they were an official couple.

On the weekend of March 2, Travis planned a weekend trip to Louisville to see The Book of Mormon. He was planning to propose and had a beautiful engagement ring in his pocket. Travis didn’t realize that Caroline had invited more friends to go with them. Things were not going as he had planned, and he was trying to improvise on how to pop the question. Finally, after realizing he wasn’t going to get the perfect opportunity. Travis was dying to get the ring out of his pocket and on Caroline’s finger. So he asked her to marry him at their friend Amanda’s house, sitting on her couch. Nothing went as planned, but it was perfect. They couldn’t have been happier and are so excited to be getting married next summer. We can’t wait to celebrate with Caroline and Travis. Stay tuned for their wedding day love story.
