Fall Wedding at the Event Barn at Evans Orchard in Georgetown, KY

Jessie and Nick’s wedding was in the fall at the Event Barn at Evans Orchard in Georgetown, Kentucky. Jessie looked beautiful in her lace dress. Her girls wore long green dresses, and their bouquets were filled with sunflowers. Nick and his guys looked dapper in their tan suits and camo bowties and suspenders. Jessie and Nick’s ceremony was in a large field overlooking the apple orchard with old wooden pews for their guests to sit. Their reception followed inside the barn. The barn was beautifully decorated with round tables dressed in white table cloths. On each table were beautiful centerpieces filled with sunflowers, candles, and white pumpkins. Each guest had a jar of sweet jam from Evans Orchard to take home with them. Jessie and Nick danced the night away outside on the patio, surrounded by there family and friends as the sun began to set. We have loved getting to know Jessie and Nick this year. It has been such an honor to capture their wedding day love story.

Their love story started when they were students when at Transylvania University in 2013. Jessie was a freshman, and Nick was a sophomore. They started off as friends, and then he asked her on a date for dinner.

Nick proposed to Jessie by first taking her out to dinner at Bonefish. They had eaten so much that they didn’t have any room for dessert, but Jessie loves chocolate cake, and so they took some to go. During dinner, Jessie noticed that Nick was making his nervous face, and she kept asking, “why are you looking at me like that?” When they got home, Nick told Jessie to sit in their recliner in the living room. He then turned off the lights, which freaks Jessie out because she doesn’t like the dark. Since it was pitch dark, Jessie had no idea that Nick had knelt down in front of her. He then opened up the ring box, which had a light in it, making the ring the only thing she could see. Nick then proceeded to ask, “Jessica Marie Wilson, will you marry me?” She, of course, said YES and jumped on top of him in excitement! Jessie and Nick thank you for having us capture your special day. We want to wish you a lifetime of happiness, love, and adventure. We are so excited for you two. Congratulations!!!!
