Adventurous Maternity Session in the Red River Gorge

Hannah and Ryan’s maternity session was in the Red River Gorge. We had so much exploring the Rock Bridge Trail with Creations Falls, the creek, and Rock Bridge itself. Hannah looked stunning in her long white dress. We loved hearing all about their sweet baby girl who is due very soon. We ended the session at sunset on top of Sky Bridge overlooking the Red River Gorge. Hannah and Ryan live near Chicago and traveled to Kentucky to celebrate their babymoon. During their trip they loved hiking through the gorge, driving through the hills, eating some great food, and relaxing in their cabin tucked away in the trees.

Hannah and Ryan’s love story first began in an emergency department at the hospital where Hannah worked. Ryan, who is a police officer, brought someone in who needed to be checked out before going to jail. They caught a glimpse of each other and started talking. Hannah and Ryan went out on their first date to a park in downtown Rockford and walked along the river. They walked and talked for hours. Secretly they both hoped the night would never end. On the night of Hannah’s 21st birthday, they went out to dinner with both of their families. After dinner, they went back to Ryan’s house. Inside the house was decorated and there was cake for Hannah. Ryan gave her a huge box and an envelope that read, “these are all the reasons I love you.” Inside the box was a smaller box with another card, then another, and another until it reached the ring box. Ryan then got down on one knee in front of their family and friends and asked Hannah to marry him! Their wedding was on July 26, 2014 at Bluemen Gardens in Sycamore, IL. Together, Hannah and Ryan love to explore. They love taking jeep drives to places they have never been, searching for hole in the wall places to eat, and antique shopping. Hannah and Ryan also love taking their dogs Flex and Marley along if possible.

We are so excited for the arrival of their sweet baby girl Elle James due in several days! Hannah and Ryan thank you for allowing us to capture your sweet little family. We wish you all many years of love, happiness, and adventure. We hope you loved Kentucky and will bring Elle back to visit some day! Congratulations!!!
