Summer Wedding at Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia

Erin and Skylar were married at the beautiful Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia. Rosemont Manor sits on the top of a hill overlooking the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Throughout it’s history, Rosemont Manor has hosted many famous presidents and people including Roosevelt, Albert Einstein, and Charles Lindbergh. Erin and Skylar got ready inside the breathtaking manor filled with a long staircase and archways. Erin looked gorgeous in her lace dress with beaded straps. Her girls wore long mint dresses and their bouquets were filled with calla lilies. Skylar and his groomsmen looked dapper in their grey tuxes and mint bowties. Erin and Sklar shared an intimate first look on the front porch of the manor where they got to see and hold each other before the ceremony. Their ceremony took place in front of the Manor overlooking the gorgeous landscape. Their reception followed in a white painted hall filled with chandeliers. Their tables were dressed in white table cloths and decorated with mason jars filled with flowers. To end the night Erin and Skylar had everyone return to the front of the manor where they cut the cake and everyone was surprised with a firework show. It was such a romantic moment and a fun way to celebrate their wedding day.

Erin and Skylar met while hiking in the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. Their first date was at Natural Bridge. Afterwards they went and got something to eat at Red State BBQ. Afterward, Erin showed Skylar her horses. They both love hiking, cooking, visiting National Parks, and playing board games together. Skylar knew he wanted to make Erin forever his. On Easter, Skylar put the ring in an Easter basket and told Erin that he wanted her to go on a scavenger hunt to find a basket he had for her. It took her about an hour to find it because he had hidden it so well. Erin of course said yes! We had so much fun celebrating with Erin and Skylar on their wedding day. We feel so honored that they chose us to capture these special memories. We wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure.
