Summer Wedding at a Historic House in Downtown Maysville, KY

David and Brandy’s wedding was at an old historic home called Phillip’s Folly in Maysville, Kentucky. The historic house is nestled right in the heart of downtown. It was the perfect place for them to tie the knot since David is originally from Maysville, KY. Brandy looked gorgeous in her beautiful lace dress. All her girls wore sparkly blush dresses. David looked dapper in his navy pinstripe suit and constellation tie. All of his groomsmen also looked handsome in their navy suits. David and Brandy’s romantic outdoor ceremony took place behind the house. Their reception followed outside and all throughout the house. The tables were provided by Shakespeare and Company and the courtyard was filled with hanging lights. For sunset Brandy and David took us to the river that overlooks a bridge and the mountains. We had so much fun celebrating their special day. They are such a sweet and fun loving couple.

Brandy and David met while they were in college. Brandy was lifeguarding at the pool during Greek week for an event at David’s fraternity. They caught each other’s eye and hit it off right away. For their first date, David took Brandy rock climbing in Morehead, KY. It was a romantic and adventurous first date in the mountains. They dated for many years throughout school and careers. David knew that he wanted to make Brandy forever his. He arranged to take Brandy on a hot air balloon ride and propose in the air. The weather conditions turned out to be too windy for the ride. David decided that he couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to propose even though the balloon ride didn’t work out. Later that day he had some of his friends arrange flowers and champagne at a local park. David took Brandy there and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes! We feel so honored that David and Brandy chose us to capture their special day. We wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure. A big shout out to all the amazing vendors who helped make their day so special.
